Cairn Project

In the heart of Europe, anchored in Switzerland’s ancient Alps, the Cairn project: a center for the general public that is devoted to ongoing geology and glaciology studies. The center is located in Val d’Hérens in Valais, surrounded by a truly rare geological context. There, visitors will explore the history of the earth and its profound transformations through activities that combine knowledge and amusement, art and culture, the intelligence of discovery, and a direct experience of the senses.
